Fur-Baby Love

Homemade Summer Treats-Bandit Approved!

Anyone who loves their pets as much as I do wants them to be happy and healthy! Part of that is giving them treats because just like us they want to indulge in something sweet & tasty too! But good healthy treats can become expensive. In this series I will be showing you how to make homemade treats for your babies that are perfect for the hot summer weather!

FROZEN YOGURT

First thing on the list is frozen yogurt! This treat is quick and relatively cheap, plus there are only two things you need to make this delicious snack. First grab fat-free or low- fat vanilla yogurt. I prefer organic but it doesn’t have to be. Then grab an ice cube tray or a silicone mold. I grabbed some cute doggy themed treat molds from amazon. Unfortunately my molds are out of stock but I linked some similar ones from Walmart and I will let you know when my amazon ones are back in stock. But any ice cube tray will work. Walmart also has some fun shaped ice-cube trays for a couple bucks, but like I said even a $1 tray from the dollar store will do!

From here all you need to do is scoop out some of the vanilla yogurt and fill the tray or mold, then place it in the freezer. After the yogurt is completely frozen then wallah! You have a tasty, yet healthy snack that your Fur-babies are sure to love, especially on those hot summer days! Just pull one out and let them enjoy.

You can also get popsicle sticks for a different vibe! Watch the full video on my Instagram @allyway1022 and shop everything in my LIKEtoKNOW.it! Like to know it is a completely free app and makes it easy to shop everything I share. You can even screenshot pictures and then shop it immediately. Below is the link. But if you make these treats make sure you share and tag me on Instagram so I can see all the cute dogs!
