Summer is almost here and so I decided to do a little refresh in my bedding! When doing so I realized how much a difference there has been in my sleep the past couple months and I contributed that to BrookLinen. I decided a few months back that I was going to try a new pair of sheets, the Luxe Sateen sheets from Brooklinen. So I ordered one pair just to start, and I fell so in love that now I have more shets and duvet covers than I probably need. The Luxe Sateen sheets are butterysoft, lightweight, and just more comfortable than you can even imagine! I have never had sheets like this before and I will never go back!
Having a chronic illness it is SUPER important to get sleep, but not just sleep… quality sleep! And something that I just learned for myself is that the sheets and pillows you use play a HUGE part in that. You would be surprised the difference the right pair of sheets make. I was in total disbelief that sheets can change the quality of your sleep until I saw it first hand.
I personally do not like rough or satin sheets, however at Brooklinen you can find sheets that suit you. Whether it be cashmere or the luxe sateen sheets, you can get the perfect pair for you and even get a duvet cover to cover up with! I also completely understand how one may think that the price of these sheets isn’t worth it, because I felt the same way, but trust me… IT IS SO WORTH IT!! They also have bundles to make it more cost effective for you; instead of buying cheap sheets that you wash a couple times and then they aren’t soft anymore, buy Brooklinen sheets that actually get softer with each wash. Comforter/ Duvet Cover: What I have is the duvet cover set in ivory. Unfortunately the ivory color is sold out in the duvet form but they have 5 other amazing colors and I kind of wish I had bough the grey! Two of my decorative pillows also came with it (the grey one and the white with grey polkadots)! You can purchase this set at Walmart. This set also comes in comforter form and the ivory color is in stock in this set if you have a full/queen bed!
Sheets: Luxe Core Set in the color Rose. Comes with 1 flat sheet, 1 core sheet, and 2 pillow cases. But I highly recommend the Luxe Hardcore Set which comes with 1 flat sheet, 1 core sheet, 4 pillow cases, and a duvet cover! I have this set in rose, graphite, and solid white. You can customize the colors of each thing so you can mix and match! For example, you can get the flat sheet and core sheet in solid white, get a rose duvet cover, 2 white pillowcases, and 2 rose pillowcase! There are so many options!
Duvet: My duvet is from amazon and I am very happy with it! However, if you would like to purchase from Brooklinen & want the convenience of being able to wash duvet covers instead of having trouble of fitting a huge comforter into the washing machine, Brooklinen has a set that includes the duvet along with everything else; The Luxe Move-In Bundle.
Decorative Pillows: The ivory pillow with gold detailing is the wrong one that Nordstrom sent so I do not have a link on that and am waiting for the RIGHT one. The correct pillow is a metallic chenille pillow that comes in pink, white and grey! The pink fringe pillow is also from Nordstrom but is sold out, I will keep an eye on it and let you know when it is back in stock. However, both pillows are from the Peri Home collection which is so beautiful and you can shop it here. The other two decorative pillows came with the Walmart Duvet Set.
Furniture: My mattress & boxspring, bed frame & headboard, dresser with the mirror and my nightstand are all from Aaron’s. Aaron’s does not check your credit and lets you rent-to-own the furniture by making low monthly payments. Or you can do what I did and just make the whole payment all at once. You can also stop the payments and return the furniture for no extra fee at any time. They also deliver and assemble all the furniture for free! Which is awesome! I absolutely love Aarons and rented their furniture while I was in college and then just stopped payments and returned it when I left for Florida. The bed set, night stand & dresser comes in the 7-piece Madison King Bedroom Set, but you can get the set in different bed sizes. Bandit’s Ramp:Bandit has a bad hip and is not able to climb up and down very well so this ramp has made a world of difference for him! I get so many compliments and questions on his ramp. It is truly the best ramp I have ever seen and has helped a lot with his pain.
